ALICE, Texas – Joann Heimann, 71, passed away July 6, 2009 in an Alice nursing home. She was born July 13, 1937 in Gladewater, Texas, to Thomas J. and Dilla Shaw Milton. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Alice where she served in the nursery and in child care.

Leonardo “Evo” Adams

SAN DIEGO, Texas – Leonardo “Evo” Adams, 57, a lifelong resident of San Diego, Texas, passed away peacefully with his loving family at his bedside at his residence on Sunday, July 5, 2009 after a long illness.  He worked for various oil field companies during his lifetime, and enjoyed barbecuing with his family and friends.  He was a loving  husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who enjoyed spending time with his family and especially with his granddaughters.

She was a cosmetologist.   She was preceded in death by her father, Edgar Wayne Evans; and sister, Kathy Elaine Sampson.
